How to make a watering can


It’s good to get your children to help water the plants around the house. It’s a fun activity that also teaches them a sense of responsibility. Let’s start by making your own watering can!


Materials and tools: 

  1. Can
  2. Drill
  3. Screw
  4. Screw driver
  5. PVC pipe
  6. Seal tape
  7. Shower
  8. Wooden stick
  9. Hand files

Step 1: Drill two holes on the can as shown in the picture.  Embellish the holes with hand files.

Step 2: Slot PVC pipe and wooden stick at the holes and drill two more holes to fix the position of the wooden stick.


Step 3: Screw the wooden stick with a screw driver.

Step 4: Join the PVC pipe with the shower and the thing is done.

Hooray! I can now help my mum to water her plants!
